Affiliations we hold:
As a group of clubs, we pride ourselves on our high standards across the board. Our professional approach of how we conduct ourselves and the daily business of the L.T.S.I. is unmatched by any other U.K. group.
In a continued approach to ensuring all our schools run on the highest set standards, we hold various annual membership with other U.K. bodies.
British Tae Kwon Do Council membership / insurance is held via the I.T.U.K. This gives all Instructors and their members quality insurance - it also gives Instructors access to the new U.K.C.C. certification, due to be launched in the U.K. in 2010.
Without exception, all Instructors of the L.T.S.I. are in possession of I.T.F. plaques to ensure all members are licensed to wear / use the I.T.F. logo as set out in the I.T.F. Encyclopaedia.
The I.T.U.K. and L.T.S.I. are independent groups based in the U.K. We are now working together to make events hosted by us fully professional. The partnership is one that ensures our members progress in the art the way both senior coaches deem correct. We are affiliated to the I.T.U.K. to gain access to the B.T.C. but are 100% independant, meaning neither groups enforces their rules on each other.
All L.T.S.I. Instructors have undergone a full enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check and hold first aid appointed person certification. All schools are checked prior to classes being held at venues and all have public liability insurance in place, as our attitude is our members are the most important people on the floor.
All Instructors are bound to the Charter of Operations which is available via our 'Download Central' section. We will always protect our members first and never allow politics to hold us back from our set goals and our vision for the future.
We hold full membership with the United Kingdom Tae Kwon Do Union (U.K.T.U.).
